Welcome to Cala Baladrar, a picturesque and tranquil enclave in the beautiful town of Benissa, located on Spain’s stunning Costa Blanca. Known for its relaxing atmosphere and spectacular natural landscapes, this cove is the perfect destination for those looking for a serene seaside getaway.
Cala Baladrar, formed by the Sesters ravine, is a natural enclave of great beauty that opens onto the Mediterranean between cliffs and pine trees that seem to overlook the sea. With pebbles and crystal clear waters, the cove is divided into two sections: Baladrar and Goleta, separated by a rocky inlet. As you descend the stairs that lead to the cove, you will find an ideal environment to enjoy nature and the sea.
One of the most striking aspects is the 30-meter cliff eroded by the sea, from which a rock known as La Polida broke off. This unique landscape, together with the protection from the Levante wind, make the cove perfect for water activities such as snorkelling and diving. Its shallow depth and rich marine fauna invite you to explore the vibrant underwater ecosystem.
Cala Baladrar also has services such as a beach bar where you can relax with tapas and soft drinks while enjoying the views, as well as showers and toilets for added comfort.
During the summer, the cove offers lifeguard and rescue service on 28 and 29 June, from 1 July to 1 September, and on 6, 7, 13 and 14 September, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
