🎉 Pedramala District Festivities

📅 FRIDAY 17th JULY
9:30 pm “District Day” – We welcome neighbours and visitors at the threshing floor for a community dinner, with appetizers and beer for everyone. Evening entertainment by Francisco Escoda.

📅 SATURDAY 18th JULY
9:00 am Gathering of festival organisers and volunteers to have breakfast together and decorate the road for the festivities.
Registration for the “39th Pedramala District Brisca Championship – Doubles”.
12:00 pm Ringing of the church bells.
6:00 pm 39th Brisca Doubles Championship.
10:00 pm Evening entertainment with a musical duo.
1:00 am Hot chocolate.

📅 SUNDAY 19th JULY
8:30 am Traditional “despertà” (wake-up celebration) with dolçaina and drum.
10:30 am Solemn Mass in honour of Saint Vincent Ferrer, followed by the traditional procession.
Afterwards, blessed bread, horchata and lemon granita will be distributed.
12:00 pm Children’s gymkhana.
8:30 pm Performance by the Rondalla Cultural de Benissa.
9:00 pm Evening entertainment by Francisco Escoda.
Afterwards, tasting of cocas, salmuera (traditional salted fish) and beer.
